Back From Vacation

4 Fairway

It is only March but Mother Nature says it is time to get back from vacation......the off season is over.  The course has really taken shape over the past 5-7 days.  With a skeleton crew, we have been able to accomplish a lot and the course shows daily improvement.  Course cleanup is about half way done and mowing is becoming a daily event with the rapid spring growth.  Enjoy the course and these bonus days for 2012.

The pins will be in the greens starting Saturday, March 10th.  Wow, did I just say March 10th!!  Stay tuned for further updates.

Getting the Dust Off

The first cut of the season was completed today on greens.  Preparations for the beginning of the 2012 golf season are under way.

A couple of cold nights are in the forecast for late this week and into the weekend which could slow down the progress and delay the opening but either way you look at it....the golf season is just about upon us.

Stump Grinding The Tree Removals

The stump grinding was completed today and the remaining cleanup will be done over the next few days.  Following the cleanup, we will back fill with soil and seed and/or sod.
